May 2011 - Pulp Paper Painting

This month students will draw a subject of their choice and then will create it with a simplified pulp painting method. This is a hand on project where they will tear paper and mix it with water to create pulp. A lot of fun! This project is inspired by the great Children's book illustrator Denise Fleming. I will have several of her books as inspiration.
